Cancellation Statement
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Siso will not take place in 2023.
We had hoped to bring a new, intimate end of summer celebration to life on the coast of Albania. The team has been working tirelessly on this new project for months, securing an excellent location, a top tier line up and a really strong selection of quality stage partners. Unfortunately, live events are facing a whole new set of challenges this year.
The production costs have increased several fold due to inflation and a spike in demand after 3 years of pandemic. This problem is exacerbated for overseas events, where it is much harder to source equipment and production teams.
In addition to this, the current economic climate and increased flight costs are making people hesitant to commit to summer plans in advance. Because of this, despite having already sold a significant amount of tickets and many people having expressed interest in purchasing tickets later in the year, it is not possible for us to deliver the event to the standards we aim to, and that’s why we have decided to make this incredibly difficult decision now to give ticket holders, artists and staff enough time to reorganise their calendars.
We launched Siso with the aim to offer people an opportunity to celebrate the end of the summer on a beach location at an affordable price. After all the work our team has put in over the past year working to create this exciting concept, it is devastating that it cannot go ahead as planned.
As promised on our booking policy, all ticket holders are entitled to receive a refund if the event doesn’t go ahead. We also want to offer you the option to move your booking to ION Festival, which takes place at the same location the week before.

What are my options?
We are offering two simple options to those of you who hold tickets for Siso:
- Option 1: Move your booking to ION festival, which takes place 6th - 13th September 2023 at the same location.
- Option 2: Receive a full refund. This includes the festival wristband, accommodation, booking fee, and any extras added to your booking such as airport transfers.
If you decide to move your booking to ION, we will add 100€ credit to your wristband and free tickets to a pool party so you can have a few drinks on us and celebrate the end of the summer as you had hoped to.
Bear in mind that all the people in the booking need to select the same option, therefore we only need one form submission per booking. If you submit multiple entries, we will use the most recent one.
Speak to your group and once you have made a decision, ask the lead passenger to complete the form linked below to register your group’s choice. You will need your booking ID for this, which you can find on your confirmation email.

MOVING YOUR BOOKING TO ION FESTIVAL
After an incredibly successful inaugural edition last summer, ION festival returns to Dhërmi with the best cutting-edge dance music. If you want to experience a music festival at this incredible location in the Albanian Riviera, you can simply exchange your Siso tickets for tickets to ION festival and enjoy the kind of music festival and holiday experience we all were looking forward to.
